The ALIA Students and New Graduates Group provides a forum for students and new graduates to build relationships, network and communicate with GLAMR professionals and colleagues. The group aims to facilitate opportunities for students and new graduate professionals to discuss issues and organise meetings and training to introduce students and graduates into the wider ALIA community. By doing so, the group aims to ensure the long-term future, relevance and member participation of the Association and the support to assist with the mentoring program in each state.
Network with ALIA Student and New Graduates Group
ALIA Students and New Graduates are on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. ‘Follow’ or ‘Like’ us to network with other new graduate professionals in your area, and find out about upcoming events in your area and see who else is attending them.
SNGG Book Club
The ALIA SNGG Book Club is for studying, new, and existing Biblarians (ie. librarians who love to read!)
The club will be reading a new book and hosting a guided discussion every 2 months, and the SNGG would love you to get involved by joining their group, suggesting book titles and voting to decide which books will be read.
Follow the ALIA SNGG Book Club Group on Facebook to join the ALIA SNGG Book Club conversation.
