GLAMR Professional Profile – Sarah Howard:

ALIA SNGG blogger Katherine met with Sarah Howard, a Liaison Librarian at QUT to discuss her work around incorporating virtual reality into library spaces.  You can read the entire profile here.

Wrapping up ALIA SNGG September events:

September was a busy month for ALIA SNGG.  Canberra held a successful Key Selection Criteria Workshop, Melbourne ran a brilliant Interview Skills Seminar and Queensland hosted valuable Interview Skills Seminar, complete with a hands-on workshop where participants practiced the new skills they’d learned.

Article club: Artefacts and Archives

Join Museums Galleries Australia and ACT ALIA Student and New Grads Group to get together after work to discuss articles with topics relevant to the GLAM sector.              Just like a book club but with less reading!

When: 5:30pm-7.00pm Thursday, 26 October 2017

Where: Castle Room, King O’Malley’s Pub, 131 City Walk, Canberra ACT

Cost: Buy your own drinks, nibbles provided!
