Brisbane – Bookaholics Anonymous

Was your New Years Resolution for 2017 to read more books? Ours was! That is why Students and New Grads Queensland is creating a brand new book club, Bookaholics Anonymous (a drinking club with a reading problem). This one is a little different to your normal book club… You can read whatever you want when you want, just make sure it fits one of the 40 popsugar categories from their 2017 reading challenge! The book club will meet every 2 months in Brisbane CBD so you get a chance to meet other awesome book fans and have drink or two (or three…).

If you are interested in joining, head to the Facebook page for more information or send an email to newgradsqld.alia@gmail.com to get your name on the list. Our location will change for every meeting so keep an eye on Facebook or email list to get updates. If you want to come along to our first meeting and see what we are all about the details are below:

When: Thursday 19th January, 6:30pm-7:30pm

Where: Santa Monica – Pizza and Burger Bar, 192 Ann Street, Brisbane.

We hope to see you there!

Maddy Meddlycott & Annette Messell
ALIA Students and New Graduates Group (QLD) Coordinators
