It’s an exciting time for NGAC as we are currently calling for expressions of interest for two new committee members. Perhaps you are enthusiastic to make a contribution to your profession? If so, we want to hear from you. Firstly, though, there are a few important things to note:
1. NGAC members can be located anywhere in Australia. You don’t need to live in a capital city.
2. NGAC members don’t necessarily need to be working in a library. Perhaps you work in an archive, museum, gallery? Perhaps you work in records management? Or another related information-type position? We would love to hear from you!
There are lots of benefits to being a member of NGAC. It’s a fantastic opportunity to engage in professional development and grow your personal learning network. Together, we work on projects, as well as representing the views new grads and new generation professionals to the ALIA Board of Directors.
